Acknowledgement

We believe in the stewardship of Lake Ontario's waterfront, a responsibility we share as members of our outdoors club. For millennia, this region has been the traditional territory and passageway for Indigenous peoples, including the Huron-Wendat, Anishnabeg, Chippewa, Haudenosaunee, and Mississaugas of the Credit. We acknowledge that Indigenous people, including members of our club, continue to call this area home. We are grateful to them and to the City for the chance to enjoy "Ontarí'io," the great lake.
