SOME UPCOMING EVENTS

JOE ROSSEM FALL WAR:

Join us Sunday October 25 at 11:00 am for some fall sailing. There is no entry fee and dress warm!

FALL CLEAN UP:

• We are gathering on Sunday November 1 at 9:30 am to clean up the property. Please note that the rain date will be Sunday November 8. If you have work gloves and a rake please bring them.

• We need 7 volunteers to help out with lunch. Please contact our groundsrat@waterrats.ca if you are able to help.

• We also need 3-4 people with wetsuits to bring in the dock at 9:30 am. Please contact kgbrown100@gmail.com if you are able to help with this.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We have some urgent clubhouse repairs coming up and we will be rolling out several projects.

• We still need a few volunteers for our deck repair. Franz Neuert is overseeing this project and this weekend looks perfect. If you are available and have personal tools such as a sander to bring, please let us know. Please contact clubhouserepair@waterrats.ca to get more information.

• We are also looking for a volunteer to lead our clubhouse roof repair project. We need someone who has experience in home repair and is good at organizing people through email. We’re still not sure if we can do this project with volunteers or if we should hire a contractor and we’ll be looking at you to help us decide and get some quotes together. Please contact paperrat@waterrats.ca to express your interest in taking this role on.
